Case Studies
I wrote these case studies because I believe the most useful lessons in ecommerce come from looking at real brands making real decisions, not from pure theory or generic advice. Each one focuses on a brand I found interesting, analyzes the channel decisions behind their trajectory, and draws lessons that can be applied beyond the company studied.
The brands I chose range from a small Parisian sock boutique to a billion-dollar electronics company. Some made the right call at the right time, while others made costly mistakes, but what these companies have in common is that their distribution decisions impacted their business in ways that we can still see today.
Each case study is independent and can be read on its own.
Important note : I have no relationship with any of the brands featured in these case studies, and I’ve never worked with, consulted for, or been compensated by any of them. Everything I write is based on publicly available information, including earnings reports, interviews, reviews, and what the brands themselves communicate. The conclusions and recommendations are my own judgment calls.
